Too much happiness!
🟨 If you're a friendly soul like myself, your phone gallery is filled with images, gifs, voice messages and videos of "Happy New Year greetings".And I have mixed feelings about it. So do many others.
🟧 I love the fact so many care about me. Not getting wellwishes can be lonely and you feel uncared for or, unappreciated.
Replying can be a daunting process. it takes time, effort and thoughtfulness to reply each messages. And, since I love to reply each by customizing a unique reply, including names, and tailoring the greeting ( not everyone married has children and some are single) I take my time. And my friends, family and associates love me for this. I won't forward a general "from my family to yours ".
🟦 Today my message is on HOPE: I'm sending to those who have labored and struggled in 2023 and weary. They can't see the light from deep in tunnel.
so I'm echoing this message; As long as you have breathe,things can change for better,
sooner than later.
🟪Happy New Year may sound cliche` today, but if you accept it, and invite it, the universe will align the stars, shift clouds around, all in your favor.

HE DID IT HIS WAY .
An Icon, entertainment legend , actor, singer and activist, Harry Belafonte gracefully bows at age 96.
He was innovative, resourceful, futuristic and uncompromising in standards.
He started humble as a janitors assistant, and got a break to sing on Broadway, from there fate beckoned to acting and the rest is history.
Belafonte's charm, good looks, authentic personality was endearing to people of all races and cultures across the borders.
He was an enigma. He opened doors for minorities, especially gave hope to blacks , he supported dreams, including Martin Luther's. And at 96 he left with dignity.
The Jamaican-American Calypso king was married 3 times and has four children.
May his soul rest eternally in PEACE 💜

2022 The year of Possibilities. Congratulations to Judge Kentanji Brown Jackson who against all odds, and oppositions from racists despite her obvious qualifications and esteemed personality, rose to become this Nation's first black Supreme Court Judge.
There is a GOD, HE SEES. HE KNOWS!
