When installing your pipes we start by torquing them to 8 lbs and then go back and final torque to 10 lbs. so proud of my son. 👍.

Here’s a tip when using the new rebuild kits with the aluminum crush washers. Torque to 9 lbs and they will not leak down.

Oh what fun it is when your Powdercoater thinks he’s gods gift to monster trucks 😂 lots of work to prep this frame for the engine to keep it from exploding when you turn the screws to it 😂

1974 Honda CB450

Completed with Polished stainless steel hardware. Cut hardware to spec. More than meets the eye. Very pleased. Should stay bright for years to come.

Honda CB450 Engine

I tried using the hex head hardware but just couldn’t do it so I ordered hundreds of screws and bolts then polished them so we have all stainless hardware in original fashion. ✅

We’ve replaced all the hardware with Stainless , ground and polished. If it calls for a 32 it’s best not to use the 35. They bottom out and will get pushed out.

The first thing to do is to torque all the screws to 9.2 ft lbs. we will add heli coils before we put it back together. It’s no fun backing up when you think your done ✅
