I can find inspiration in just about anything.

That’s one of my favorite things about being a creative. My mind is always translating color, texture, shapes, and space; rhythm, layers, and movement; sometimes even a smell or taste that sparks an idea or a feeling.

Fashion. Music. Interiors. Nature. It all becomes part of the creative vocabulary I draw from.

A little detour from design… because fashion has always been part of my creative world.
I’m not a fashion professional, but I’ve always loved putting a look together. I even spent a little time at Fashion Institute of Technology back in the day, so maybe it was inevitable. 😊

Lately, I’ve found myself reaching for a few things over and over again: gauchos (yes, I remember them the first time around 😂), camo paired with bright color, long pleated skirts with hoodies and sneakers, and graphic sweaters that apparently have me in a chokehold.

My style has always been a mix. Something classic with something unexpected. Dressed up with dressed down. Bold color. Great proportions. And usually at least one thing that makes the outfit a little more interesting.

Sometimes you start with an idea just to see where it goes. That’s pretty much the story of vf by design.

What began as a creative outlet has become a space to create, experiment, keep learning, and make work I’m proud to put my name on.

Sometimes you just have to give an idea somewhere to grow.
