Sister, I honor you! Being a woman is hard AF (it’s an abbreviation not a cuss word - if you can’t handle that - We’ll miss you.).

Women are told to be natural, wear less makeup, love our bodies and grow old with grace. But the message to change our bodies, face tune our wrinkles, plump our imperfections and stay young or be irrelevant is even louder. That’s hard.

We’re told we need to be independent, start a business, speak our minds and own our sexuality. But the message to start a family, be likable, make organic meals from scratch and get your body back after the baby is just as loud. That’s hard.

Women are told to own their flaws, show their bodies, be authentic, delay having kids and find their purpose. But the message to exercise yourself down to a size zero, put your kids before yourself, husband, sleep and self-care while you build your million dollar network marketing business on Facebook is just as loud. That’s hard.

I don’t have all the answers. I listen to what God has to say. I do what feels right for me. I don’t care what society says. I don’t plan to EVER leave my house without lashes on, but that doesn’t make me inauthentic. I created 7-figure businesses in several industries, but it was always more important to me to be a great mom and the best partner to my husband. The truth is - I don’t need validation - but it’s still nice to take a moment to recognize IT IS HARD!
