Weeks before my birthday, he asked if he could make plans for my day…and then he actually followed through 🥹❤️

I came home from an early flight exhausted and fully prepared to jump right back into doing everything myself. Instead, I was told to sit down, relax and enjoy my birthday. Breakfast cooked for me, fresh watermelon juice, mimosas, the kitchen cleaned, dinner and thoughtful gifts from someone who clearly knows his audience 😂

I’m normally the one planning, cooking, helping and making sure everybody else is good, so being cared for like this felt different. And I actually let myself receive it without trying to take over 🙌🏽😂

44 might be the year I finally sit my independent ass down and fully embrace this soft girl era because being spoiled looks real good on me 😌❤️

Now where did this man come from? 😍

Because why do I have five different piles of stuff that all had a purpose at one point? 😂

I wasn’t ignoring it.
I wasn’t forgetting it.
I was actually in the middle of doing something…

Then my brain said, “Ooh, let’s do this instead.”
