(W) Steve Forbes writing in The Wall Street Journal: It’s tough to keep track of all the U.S. industries now threatened by the tariffs the Trump administration has teased, announced and implemented this year, but one in particular should worry readers of this and other newspapers. Cult 45 will call him a socialist... LOL A reminder: Steve Forbes was twice a candidate for the nomination of the Republican Party for President of the United States (1996 and 2000). Doing this to balance the trillion in tax cuts!
Cut all domestic programs to offset the $1.2 trillion in tax cuts for the rich to balance our budget. My oh my! Republicans are something else.
Have you noticed for decades the folks who work the hardest in this country don’t have the loopholes to write things off as they pay taxes for just about anything? While every advantage is given to the wealthiest among us?
Let’s just keep dipping into their pocketbooks! Their retirement money. Their savings. Republicans are so good at changing the narrative. Blaming the working class for just about everything. Never mind that they keep giving corporations everything they want and taking away everything we want. Like safety nets that we actually paid into all of our working life with our hard earned tax dollars! Fascinating, simply fascinating!

Donald Trump is labeling the disastrous Republican tax bill as the "Cut, Cut, Cut Act" and he is right. At a time of massive wealth and income inequality, this bill would cut taxes for billionaires by repealing the estate tax. When corporations are making record-breaking profits, this bill would slash taxes for companies that are shifting American jobs to China and profits to the Cayman Islands. And if this bill passes it would blow a giant hole in the deficit, forcing massive cuts to Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid.
Just as we defeated the Republican health care bill, our job now is to bring people together to defeat this disastrous tax bill and to create an economy and government that works for all of us, not just the 1 percent.
