Madonna wore Mackie at the 1991 Oscars where she performed Best Song winner “Sooner or Later” from “Dick Tracy.” If there had been an internet back then, she would’ve broken it, not just for the stunning Marilyn Monroe homage but also because she showed up with Michael Jackson as her date. Steven Meisel memorialized the instantly iconic look for the April ‘91 issue of Vanity Fair. (Oscar fashion nerds will be interested to know this was the only dress she wore that night. Compare to today where a celeb might have 2-3 outfit changes: one for red carpet arrival, one to present an award or perform, and one for the after parties.)

Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre canceled their scheduled shows at the Hollywood Bowl, which had already been postponed to October, in solidarity with the writers and actors on strike.

Fun Fact!
Snoop Dogg is not considered to be the best role model for young children. The lyrics of his songs are often profane and his songs are not something that you want your kids listening to.
🥰However, this doesn't interfere with his love for humanity. Snoop Dogg stands as the most charitable rapper in Hip Hop history. Over the years, he has donated UpTo $100 Million to charity😱. This is much more than most celebrities have ever done!

He donates a lot of funds to charity organizations such as; The Save A Life Foundation, The Healing Circle, the Shriners Hospital For Children etc!

More to that, he has even started an athletic program for kids which is called Snoop Youth Football League. Not only did he create the league, he even coaches the kids who participate.

He may have the street reputation of being a bad guy, however, he has deep pockets and has no problem with helping the less fortunate.❤️❤️

I can't love this enough! Simply stunning!

Billie Burke

Mary William Ethelbert Appleton Burke (August 7, 1884 – May 14, 1970) was an American actress who was famous on Broadway and radio, and in silent and sound films. She is best known to modern audiences as Glinda the Good Witch of the North in the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer movie musical The Wizard of Oz (1939).

Burke was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance as Emily Kilbourne in Merrily We Live (1938). She is also remembered for her appearances in the Topper film series. Her unmistakably high-pitched, quivering and aristocratic voice, made her a frequent choice to play dimwitted or spoiled society types.

She was married to Broadway producer and impresario Florenz Ziegfeld Jr. from 1914 until his death in 1932.
