A week ago, on Tuesday March 31, 2026, I had the honor of being a Georgia honoree at the 3rd Annual Influential Women of Georgia Day event held at the Georgia State Capitol. This award holds great significance for me as it recognizes my character, and it’s an incredible honor to have been nominated by my peer and former producer, Princess Blanton-Lofters, the mastermind producer behind the creation of Bravo’s/ True Ent’s Real Housewives of Atlanta. Her production of RHOA paved the way for me to embark on my own journey and create the Married to Medicine franchise. I extend my deepest gratitude to Princess Loftis for remembering my Mark and not rewriting history.

Special thanks also go to the event sponsors, represented by Billy Mitchell, hosts, Reign Stevens of and Dexter Sharper. I also want to acknowledge my family, my village and the remarkable achievements of my fellow honorees who were also honored with Outstanding Citizenship Awards and House Resolutions from the esteemed 180 members of the Georgia House of Representatives and the state of Georgia. Congratulations to all 3 of you ladies (Rasheeda,Spice & Tiny)

Let’s continue to stand tall on our principles of Authenticity, integrity and let our presence illuminate any room we enter! God Bless!
