Welcome back to Part 2 of REVAMPing my ugly chairs!

On this episode we focus on the cushions!

This portion was completed using fully repurposed items.

The cushions were from my old dining room set chairs and the fabric were some old scraps, making this a complete REVAMP!

🧡STEP 1- was deciding which side of the fabric to use, after holding the swatches in comparison to the gold, I wanted a more balanced lock, so decided on the darker option.

🧡 STEP 2- was to match and blend the pieces together to form a larger fabric piece.

🧡 STEP 3- Once sewing the pieces together seamlessly, I reupholstered each cushion using a staple gun and hammer to secure the staples.

I LOVE the results! for the reveal!!

Sometimes a rug switch is all you need to further create a vibe!
For this guest bed room I want it to be geared towards music culture. Music has always been a huge part of my life as well as art. In this room, you will find a showcase of independent artists art work that I have collected throughout the years. It’s slowly coming together!

While shopping online I saw these rugs, I knew they would be perfect for this room!!

“Owning a home is a journey, not a weekend vacation” are the words of my Auntie. These words freed me from the anxiety of rushing towards perfection while decorating and personalizing my home. Piece by piece this is permission to take your time, and if you need assistance in your decorating journey, give us a call 😘
