Today was a fantastic start for my new business venture!! Thank you to all the customers and family who came by and supported me and all the other vendors at The Acton Children’s Business Fair. I was thrilled that was named Best Original Idea for a business in the 6-9 year old category. I learned a lot and had a great time too!

Scarf Them Up is a girl-owned business devoted to changing kids fashion one neck at a time. Seven-year-old Cicely first began making scarves with her grandmother about three years ago. Every winter they shop for fleece in vibrant colors and patterns that will make good holiday gifts for Cicely’s classmates.

Children love the way the scarves look and feel, and parents appreciate that they are machine washable. This makes them a win-win for all.

This year Cicely is excited to introduce her scarves as the cornerstone of her first business. Please support her on the first leg of her entrepreneurial journey as a vendor at the Children's Business Fair at Pinewood Studios this Saturday from 12-4 pm.

This Saturday will be warmer than today and a little wet but worth a trip to Fayetteville for the kid's business fair I've been prepping for all month. Come out and join more than 20 mini-preneurs for great holiday gifts, treats and more! 12-4 at Pinewood Forest.
