You know where you are going and it isn't going to always make sense to those around you and that doesn't mean that it is wrong. Don't let your people-pleasing tendencies become an obstacle for your journey in getting there. God didn't create you for their path. He created you for yours.
This is the word that I keep hearing today. The more I would think about it, the more it would unravel.
An old friend who asked me what I was up to now because she couldn't keep up. I allowed that to convict me. As a serial entrepreneur, yes, I am constantly dreaming up new ventures. I can't ever just keep my feet in one exact thing and be happy with it. That is the life of a creative, a dreamer and an entrepreneur. One thing is never really enough because
1. The corporate life doesn't work with us or our family lifestyle so we would rather work 80 hours on our own ventures than 40 hours for someone else.
2. Doing anything but this would kill our souls.
I am not saying working in corporate America is bad. Honestly, it is amazing for some people. Some are truly gifted in that... I am not one of them.
So as fall comes closer, we are working on the grand opening of the boutique. I will be going to markets occasionally on weekends. I will be working with all of my Interior Design clients, Event Design clients and those clients who I am helping plan their weddings. I will also ***drumroll*** be relaunching K Kennedy Jewelry! It is no longer a hobby anymore.
They say that if you can't walk away from something then maybe it was never meant to leave. While I needed a break from it for a minute, the jewelry design business was never something that I ever really saw not in my life.
I knew that once the doors of my boutique were finally opened, K. Kennedy Jewelry would be a part of it. I knew that any time I would go to market for Rural Birch, K. Kennedy Jewelry would be there too. K. Kennedy Jewelry never really left... I just needed a break to get my head back in the game.
As of right now
1. My Etsy store is back up
2. There are SO MANY pieces that I will be adding to the Etsy store.
3. I am designing the area in the boutique where K. Kennedy Jewelry will be showcased.
4. I am planning on which markets to join for the 4th quarter of the year.
I cannot wait to share all of the new updates with you all! SO MANY new things are coming this way and I am incredibly excited to share this part of my journey with you!
Be sure to check out the Etsy store in the meantime!
