This kid kills me. As we get ready for kindergarten, I am sitting here feeling so grateful to have this ray of sunshine by my side. While it is definitely not easy, it sure is...interesting. And mostly hilarious. This picture was taken in the saguaro national forest and he called this “our dude.” Last week settling back into “normal” life after an epic adventure has been tough. But also these things happened: after reading “the way to start a day” Justice gets up every morning and makes up songs and plays music to the sun, when I told him that the animal is actually called a skunk, not a stunk, he informed me “sadly, you are wrong.” And, he changed our Netflix to only speak German (which he insisted is Chinese) and since we are too old to figure out how to fix it , looks like we are learning German via pocoyo. I guess when it’s all plague and fires and apocalypse sometimes all you can do is laugh at the innocence and sweetness of the little’s. And send so much love to those suffering. ♥️
