Good morning! I’m checking to see if there are any Hendricks County quilters who want to get together and sew up some quilt tops to raffle off for the Blazer 88 Foundation. The Blazer 88 Foundation was founded in honor of Chuck Theobald IV to benefit Veterans. I’m thinking about getting a large room at the Plainfield Library on a weekend coming soon (more info to follow if there is enough to warrant a big room). Please comment below if interested in joining in and donating your time, talent, supplies, or just want to purchase a raffle ticket when they are done. (We need red, white, and blue fabric scraps, backing fabric and batting.) See story below:
While I don’t consider myself a biker, I was invited to go on a benefit ride yesterday. 95 bikes/trikes attended, and what a great group of people!! While I was there looking at the silent auction items I noticed a beautiful quilt and had to know who made it. I was introduced to Tabitha Grove of House of Grove Quilts Located in the Camby area. I’m so sad I didn’t have my camera on hand to take a photo of it at the time. You know how quilters are when they meet another addict, I mean quilter. 😂 So, needless to say I talked her ears off and she is interested in getting a larger group together as well.
