I had the privilege of working with the absolute dream team on this shoot. I’m always so inspired by my group of women and creatives that seem to out-impress me every time I get to see them in their element.

Since the beginning, this project was a labor of love, and to wrap it up with some best friends was a beautiful full-circle moment.

Entrenched in Farrow & Ball Pigeon, with Railings as the trim contrast, all we wanted was to make this room feel like you could take a nap at any given moment. As directed, “I want it to feel like Edgar Allen Poe’s decendant lives here.” I think we nailed it!

Hi, I’m Susie, and I’m thrilled to introduce you to my passion project: The Living Finish! Here at The Living Finish, I believe that every space tells a story—and just like the patina on brass or the charm of a vintage treasure, the beauty of a home evolves and grows over time.

As a homebody at heart, I know how important it is to love where you live. Whether you’re looking for a bold refresh or subtle ways to bring more warmth and character to your home, I’m here to help create a space that feels like home.

I love weaving colors and patterns with cozy, approachable elements to create spaces that feel vibrant, yet truly livable. Every room designed is infused with personality, layered with textures, and sprinkled with timeless pieces that make it uniquely yours. And of course, I adore giving vintage items a new life in a new space—because everything (and everyone) deserves a fresh chapter.
