There is a lot of pain and suffering in the world and it breaks my heart. I cant do much about most of it, but I can do a lot about some of it. When we focus on reducing the suffering of others and making a positive impact in our immediate sphere of influence, it is much less overwhelming. And, if we all did that, we could literally change the entire world.

Well, it’s Sept already! Time to start the rock run!

This month will be 12 years since my little bro captain Ryan K Iannelli was killed in action. No matter what the powers that be are doing, I do believe well intended good hearted people go into our military for good reasons. I don’t believe they’re well taken care of, specially after they get home. In honor of all of the families who have sacrificed, and all of our men and women who have paid the ultimate sacrifice with their lives I am running 50 miles this month. I have actually raised $250 when my goal was $200 for wounded warriors. I would ask that you may be consider giving to the foundation my mother Donna Iannelli started at https://ryans41319.org because she also directly helps military families in need and provides money for a scholarship in my brothers honor each year at our high school alma mater. One of Ryan’s good friends was just killed in a training accident and I know their family could use prayers as well.

 I know times are tough for everyone, but even if you can give five dollars, just think about if 100 people gave five dollars what that could do for a family need! We are always better together. Running 3 miles on our country gravel hills with 27 pounds on my back and chest was not easy, but sometimes it’s good to get uncomfortable and to challenge. This month my challenge is an honor of my little bro, and all of those who have given their lives. May God be with all the families of our military, and all the men and women serving.
