💕 Getting to Know Copper Squared 💕
We have so many new followers lately, and we thought it might be time to reintroduce ourselves!
For those who don’t know us, Copper Squared is a true family business. We aren’t a big corporation or franchise…we’re just a family that loves our community and believes everyone deserves to feel welcome when they shop.
Hi! I’m Jen, the mom behind Copper Squared. 👋
I’m the one who gets awkwardly talked into being in front of the camera every now and then. I can chat with just about anyone for hours, but being the center of attention? Not so much! I’m married to my husband, Chris, and together we have two adorable pups. Our favorite thing in the world is spending time with family, especially our granddaughter, Abigail.
The other half of Copper Squared is my daughter, Renee. She’s the one you’re most likely to see on our social media because she is a natural in front of the camera! As a professional photographer and owner of Photo Focus Photography, she’s much more comfortable being photographed than I am.
Renee is married to her high school sweetheart, Matt. Around here we jokingly call him our “private contractor” because he’s the talented guy behind all of the renovations and improvements you compliment in the store. Renee has the ideas and Matt makes it happen!! Together, Renee and Matt have our sweet Abigail and four VERY large dogs that keep life interesting.
Our family also loves hosting exchange students. Over the years we’ve welcomed many amazing young people into our lives, and we’ve been lucky enough to gain family members all over Europe. If you’ve ever considered hosting an exchange student, ask us about it sometime…we could talk about it for hours!
Both Renee and I work full-time outside of Copper Squared. Renee runs Photo Focus Photography and I work as the National GM for a dental laboratory. We each bring different skills and ideas to the store, but what truly makes Copper Squared special isn’t us…
