Sew Blesssed update: as posted earlier due to my health situation I am retiring earlier than expected. It turns out that a few of my existing team are interested in continuing to sew. Hello Sew Blessed friends. I announced a little while ago that I was planning to retire this December but unfortunately a critical health situation has made me need to act sooner. Sew Blesssed is now closed and we will not be accepting any new clients. The team is still working diligently to finish the projects that are underway and they will be in touch. I have a lifelong friend. Her name is Renee. She owns Humble Bee Studio (look her up on facebook) and i highly recommend her for your sewing needs. My friend, Maegan is the absolute best for bridals! My daughter Heather, will be continuing to offer hemming services. When i am recovered enough to work again, my friend Kathy and i will be transitioning the full service Sew Blessed to Sew Blessed Specialties- offering memory projects like bears. And christening, baptism and holy communion attire from repurposed wedding gowns or new fabrics. We will keep information posted

Good afternoon, Sew Blessed friends. This is Heather, Betty’s daughter. Betty is currently in the ICU and will not be taking appointments for the foreseeable future. If you have an upcoming appointment and have not been contacted about rescheduling, please know that I am working through those a few days at a time as we see how shes doing. We are also still aiming to complete what we have on hand by the due dates. If you havent heard from me and your event is comimg up, please reach out. Im trying to stay on top of things, but I also work full time, and I dont want to miss anything! We will not be taking any new projects right now. Your prayers for my mom would be greatly appreciated during this time.

Sew Blessed will be closing permanently in December 2024.
This has been a very difficult decision but with some health issues making my work more challenging, ive reached the conclusion its time to retire. I look forward to spending more time with my grandson, husband, daughter& son in law. Im also going to be enjoying some ministry endeavors
Teaching Sewing: For those who have asked if I teach sewing. I am going to open the door to this possibility. I will consider teaching students from 11 years old to adult.

Many Sew Blessed friends know that I served for many years in pastoral/teaching ministries. Over the past year I have been connecting with “His Place,” an exciting project of Anthony Ellis. Anthony took ownership of the closed Methodist Church in Bridgewater and has completely renovated the facility. Fellowship activities have recently launched there, including men’s and women’s groups, Sunday morning, fellowship, and others. It is my honor to be leading the Thursday night women’s Fellowship, which begins at 6 o’clock each Thursday evening. The pictures below describe Sunday morning fellowship and the women’s group. Sew Blessed is looking for a new seamstress to join our team. This would be a part-time position increasing to more time during busiest seasons. The successful candidate does not need to be an excellent seamstress. We will teach you, but should have some sewing or crafting experience with an interest in learning clothing alterations. The ability to work in a self directed manner, and manage work flow to meet deadlines is essential. It is very important to be a team player and a people person is of highest priority!!! Interested? It was such a joy to work with wonderful girls (and guys) from many schools on beautiful prom dresses and unique requests. Sew Blessed completed about 75 dresses this year so far with a few more to go! Thanks to everyone who trusted us to be part of your special event!
