One thing I've learned while building Pie & Sprout is that kids don't all play the same way.

Some little ones are happiest pulling, sorting, matching, and exploring with their hands. Others want stories, colors, textures, and opportunities to figure things out on their own.

That's why I've been working on busy books for different age groups. 🌱

The books for younger children focus on simple exploration and fine motor skills, while the books for older kids include more activities, challenges, and opportunities for imaginative play.

Every book starts as a pile of paper, cut pieces, string, and ideas spread across my craft table before slowly turning into something a child can enjoy again and again.

It's one of my favorite things to make. 💚

That's why we're hosting the Teddy Bear Picnic. 🧸🌿

An afternoon filled with crafts, imagination, playground adventures, and a teddy bear parade where kids get to celebrate being kids.

Over the past few weeks, I've been working on something new: online creative writing courses.

Writing has always been one of my biggest passions, and I'm excited to start sharing classes designed to help writers explore their creativity, strengthen their skills, and find joy in the writing process.

I never expected memory games to become one of my favorite things to make, but here we are. 😊

There's something so satisfying about turning a simple matching game into a tiny themed adventure.

Ocean creatures, dinosaurs, earth and nature, fantasy creatures, emotions, fairy forests, cars, dragons, and more... every set starts with the same idea: create something simple enough for kids to enjoy, but interesting enough that they'll want to play again tomorrow.

And honestly? I might be having just as much fun designing them as the kids have playing them. 🌱
