I have always liked using my initials for everything because as a child one of my uncles always used to address my cards as 'AKA niece'. He actually passed away a few years ago now so it is a small tribute to him. I also now own his house, which is where all my items are produced. I didn't grow up as an artistic child, in fact, I always believed I was the opposite of a creative person. I was athle
tic and played many sports and eventually played softball in college. My grandma always crocheted though and one day, while sitting on the couch bored, I started watching crochet YouTube videos. I went out, bought my first hook set and yarn, and taught myself how to crochet. Now, I am growing my small business into other avenues that mainly revolve around baby and child items. I have multiple friends that either now have kids or are getting ready to have babies, so my ideas are always swirling for what I could make for them. I love creating handmade, thoughtful gifts for people and any occasion, but I believe my specialty is baby shower gifts.
