The Tomte… Nisse…. Gnome

In the Swedish folklore, the tomte was a little mythical figure who lived on the farms and protected the animals. They were also known to be tricky little fellows who you had to keep happy or they would wreak havoc. On Christmas Eve, it was customary to leave porridge for the tomte, or risk trouble.

As promised, the gnomes. I currently have some Autumn and Christmas fellas and gals.

It has been a while since I have posted on this page. When galleries closed, I took a break from sales and went back to teaching. It is keeping me happy and busy.

I am selling the inventory that I have left at a discounted rate to help my kids raise money for a big band trip to Disney. Now that’s a fundraiser! Just buy a piece of art and they will get all the money. 😂

Each piece is 100, except for the wheat field, which is smaller. That is 75.

If you are interested in purchasing anything, I can send to you for shipping cost and you can make a donation below for price of the picture. I will post individual picture and price as I complete them.

Such fun! I taught an ornament class yesterday at the Rogers Memorial Library in Hudson. I was super impressed with how well they all did, but I forgot to take pictures. Too busy telling stories, I guess.
