Thanks to my testers for my brand new Toi et Moi Sock Knitting Pattern! These fully mirrored socks feature twists that go all the way from the cuff to the toe. While they look complicated, the pattern is repeated and the sole is stockinette for max comfort.

The Toi et Moi Socks are absolutely beautiful with the mirrored twists from the cuff to the toe!

The pattern is well written and the repeat is easy to memorize. The fit is also quite comfortable.

SURPRISE!

I am so excited to release my next sock knitting pattern! The Toi et Moi Socks are an intermediate sock pattern featuring twists for a repetitive, but extremely fun knit. Pair up a special skein in your stash, or pick up a new skein of yarn to make these socks. My wonderful testers have worked hard to create amazing socks and refined this pattern for you!

The Toi et Moi Sock Pattern makes adult-sized socks. The socks are knit top-down in the round with 2.25mm needles in sock (1) yarn. This pattern includes written instructions and requires knowledge of knitting terminology. Foot size measurements are approximate to the circumference of the ball of your foot: 8.5” (9.5”, 10.5”).

This new release is included in my fundraiser honoring Dolly Parton. To honor herlegacy, from August 29 to September 5 (see what I did there?), 100% of pattern and magnet sales will be donated to Reading is Fundamental Pittsburgh. 50% of sales of mystery items will also be donated. Thanks for partnering with me to do a little good in this world!

Honoring Dolly Parton's Legacy

I was truly shocked to hear of Dolly Parton's passing earlier this week. As I sit reading one of dozens of books on my TBR, preparing for my monthly yarn release based on Eragon, a popular children's book series, I can't help but think about how much of an impact reading has had on my life. Although never much of a country fan, I've always considered Dolly Parton a hero for the wonderful way she used her success to impact others, especially children.

I want to participate in honoring her legacy. From August 29 to September 5 (see what I did there?), 100% of pattern and magnet sales will be donated to Reading is Fundamental Pittsburgh. 50% of sales of mystery items will also be donated.

BRISINGR & SAPHIRA

The Inheritance Cycle was one of the first series I read in real time. Waiting for each book in the series was almost unbearable as a kid. As a coming-of-age fantasy, Eragon growing from a kid who didn't know who he was or what he was capable of to becoming a strong, empathetic leader was such a great story.

Besides, who didn't want a giant, blue, fire-breathing dragon as a pet??

I just wanted to say thank you for the most incredible Steel Valley Yarn Crawl. My heart is full from connecting with so many of you as you appreciated everything Chronicles of Cheryl stands for. With an incredible debut for Malory Towers, consistent love for Little Women and Marmee, such excitement for my brand new mystery beanie and sock knitting kits, and endless demand for the ever popular Butterfly Pea Flower, I am so appreciative of the success this summer season has been.
