♻️ Scrap fabric → one-of-a-kind hats.

Local maker JAMIE turns leftover fabric scraps into bold, colorful hat designs. Instead of letting those materials go to waste, she transforms them into something totally unique.

Every hat is a little different:
🎨 bold color combinations
🧵 reclaimed fabric designs

From floral patterns to textured corduroy panels, each one has its own personality.

I just put a bunch of new hats out on the sales floor, so if you saw the last batch, there are even more to check out now.

These vibrant nature prints are created by Seattle artist Erin using a technique called RISO printing.

Instead of printing everything at once like a typical printer, each color is printed one layer at a time.

The artist separates every color in the design, then runs the paper through the printer multiple times so each layer stacks perfectly on top of the last.

The result:
✨ incredibly rich colors
✨ subtle texture from the ink layers
✨ a handmade feel you don’t get from standard printing

Erin designs and prints these herself in Seattle, and we currently have several of her prints available in the shop.

If you love bold nature art with a psychedelic twist, these are even better in person.

Meet Nikita!
A Bellingham-based textile artist.

Nikita creates one-of-a-kind sweaters by transforming existing garments through dyeing, bleaching, and textile techniques that give each piece its own character.

The result: wearable art with texture, color, and personality.

We’re excited to feature some of Nikita’s work here at EverLocal, alongside other independent makers and locally sourced pieces.

We’re trying out a new way to organize pants + shoes in the shop 👖👟

Pants: We noticed a lot of pants crossover (men’s/women’s), so we grouped them together instead of splitting them up. And on the size dividers, we’re showing both sizing systems - inches and number sizes, so you can quickly find the size based on what you’re used to seeing on the size label.

We also separated the pants rack by fit:

* Relaxed / straight
* More fitted / contoured

Shoes: Same idea, a lot of shoes can work for anyone, so we’re testing men’s + women’s size translations on the tag when it applies. You'll see the shoes size in both men's and women's sizing on the tag.

We’re still experimenting and want to know what do you think? helpful, or would you organize it differently?
