Artist Statement:

I am a native Vermonter. Through the years I have come to appreciate the beauty of the natural world that surrounds me. I come from a family of artists: woodworkers, artists, quilters, and sewers. I followed this tradition with knitting, quilting, and embroidery. When life circumstances caused me to change careers, I decided to incorporate my love of Vermont with my creativity.

I was impressed by a young friend who made her own jewelry and decided to try it. It was love at the first bend of the wire. I am continuously developing my skills and branching out into new arenas of jewelry creation. My most recent additions are wire sculpted pieces with gemstones and sterling silver and gold-filled jewelers’ wire, and wire name jewelry that is created for each customer with love. My goal is to create high quality pieces of jewelry at reasonable prices.
