anyone relate? ❤️⬇️

You’re not lazy. You’re not behind. You’re buried.

When you can’t move, everything you’re “supposed” to be doing just stacks up around you:

the messages, the mail, the dishes, the stuff that would take five minutes on a normal day. And then the pile itself becomes another reason you can’t move. It feeds itself.

That’s not a character flaw. That’s how the weight works…

So if today’s one of those days, here’s what I need you to hear: you are not failing. You’re surviving something invisible, and surviving it counts.

You don’t have to clear the whole pile. You never did. You just have to reach for one thing: reply to one message, drink the water, open the curtains. Not to fix everything. Just to prove to yourself that you still can. One small thing doesn’t erase the pile, but it breaks the spell that says you’re stuck forever.

And on the days you can’t even do that? That’s okay too. Resting isn’t quitting. Sometimes staying is the bravest thing you do all day.

You’ve made it through every single one of these days so far. That’s a 100% survival rate. Don’t forget that.

🔖 Save this for the next heavy day and read it when you need it.

Share it with someone who needs to hear they’re not lazy, just tired in a way sleep doesn’t fix.

What’s the one small thing that helps you break the spell? 👇

depression is more than just sadness… it’s very complex and different for everyone.

please understand this

explained ⬇️⬇️⬇️

The mirror only shows a thin strip of the fish, and it believes that’s all it is… nothing more than what it sees.

But in reality, this fish is colorful, vibrant, and full of life.

It’s long and beautiful, but it can’t see the fullness of itself through the mirror.

This is how many of us feel on tough days. We look at ourselves and only see the parts we think aren’t enough.

We forget the strengths, the uniqueness, the beautiful colors of our being that others can see so clearly.

We may feel small or invisible, but that doesn’t mean we are.

You are more than the reflection you see when you’re struggling.

Your worth isn’t defined by the surface… it’s in the depth, the fullness, and the beauty that others see in you, even when you can’t.

Don’t let the mirror fool you. You are colorful. You are long. You are enough. 🐠❤️

Happiness Project × AFSP Illinois are proud to come together to help raise awareness, support su***de prevention, and remind people that no one has to face their struggles alone.

This year, is honored to serve as the Presenting Sponsor of the 2026 Out of the Darkness Chicagoland Walk and contribute $50,000 to help fund su***de prevention research, education, and support through AFSP Illinois.

The Hold Onto Hope Collection was created to give everyone a way to show their support for su***de prevention and mental health awareness. Whether you wear it every day or at the 2026 Out of the Darkness Chicagoland Walk, every purchase helps support AFSP Illinois’ lifesaving mission while spreading a message of hope.

Together, this partnership is helping turn hope into action while supporting lifesaving mental health initiatives and bringing more people into the conversation.

Thank you for helping spread hope, support su***de prevention, and remind others that they’re never alone.

some days you’re sinking the whole time and no one around you can tell. you get up, you answer the messages, you keep walking like you’re not going under. and everyone thinks you’re fine.

if that’s you today: it’s not weakness that you’re still moving. it’s the opposite. functioning while you’re drowning takes more than anyone sees.

you won’t feel like this forever, even though it swears you will. the floor comes back. it always has before. 🩶

save this for a day you need it. and if someone came to mind, send it to them.
