My top selling listing just got flagged by bots and deactivated. I had “no child labor” in my listing and it got flagged as children’s jewelry and deactivated my top selling peace sign necklace listings. Hopefully I can get it straightened out soon. In the meantime these necklaces are discounted on our website & less than the $20 Amazon pricing currently. Check them out! . #✌🏻 #☮️

My first attempt at saving seeds. 😍 This is the first year I’ve had a property that I could have a garden. I’m definitely still learning, but excited to have a bigger garden next year. Show me your gardens!

I picked this watermelon from my garden & it was SO GOOD. It tasted like what I remember watermelon tasting like as a kid. Does anyone else notice that store bought watermelon doesn’t taste like it used to? Or is it just me?

The 2nd office is so much more inviting. The kids have started to take it over with toys though because they like it too. We had some little helpers that did some painting. 😂

A chemical engineer in Mexico named Sandra Pascoe Ortiz developed a bioplastic from nopal cactus juice—using natural sugars and plant-based additives. The material breaks down in soil within about a month, dissolves faster in water or compost, and is non-toxic if accidentally ingested.

What makes this different from conventional plastics is the speed. Most plastics take decades to decompose. This cactus-based option handles packaging, bags, and food wraps while actually returning to the earth. It also supports sustainable farming practices since nopal grows well in arid climates with minimal resources.

It's still early, but innovations like this show what's possible when we work with plants instead of against them.
