Amazing footage!

repost from history__revived Over a hundred years later we can see what daily life looked like in Paris. After the First World War, there was a dramatic shift in culture and fashion throughout the west. Also video filming was relatively new at the time, so it provided a raw unfiltered look into the streets of Paris during the roaring 20s.

Alvin Kaunda was filming a segment at a baby elephant orphanage in Nairobi when the moment suddenly took an unexpected turn.

While delivering his piece to camera, an inquisitive baby elephant wandered up and gently tapped him on the shoulder and face—interrupting the report in the most wholesome way possible.

🐘 The interaction wasn’t staged or planned, but a natural moment of curiosity from one of the orphaned elephants at the sanctuary.

The clip quickly gained attention online for its charm, showing the unpredictable and playful behavior of young elephants in rehabilitation environments.

💚 It also highlighted the work of elephant orphanages, where rescued calves are cared for and gradually prepared for reintegration into the wild.

Sometimes the best news moments… come with a trunk and a tap on the shoulder. 😊🐘
