đź’™ June is Men's Mental Health Month đź’™
Men's mental health is something that deserves more attention, understanding, and open conversation.
The facts are clear:
• Su***de is one of the leading causes of death among men in the United States.
• Men account for nearly 4 out of 5 su***de deaths nationwide.
• Men are less likely to seek mental health treatment, often due to stigma, cultural expectations, or the belief that they need to handle everything alone.
(CDC, NIMH)
Behind every statistic is a real person—someone’s father, son, brother, friend, or partner.
A lot of men are taught to stay quiet and push through. To “be strong” by holding everything in. But real strength isn’t silence.
Strength is getting up when life feels heavy.
Strength is continuing to fight through hard days.
Strength is choosing to reach out when you need support.
If you’re struggling, it’s okay to not be okay.
You don’t have to carry everything alone, and you don’t have to have it all figured out today. Every day is another step toward something better, even if that step is small.
Check on your people. A simple message can mean more than you realize.
And if you don’t have anyone to talk to, my inbox is open. I’ll listen.
You matter. Your story matters. And your life matters.
