🎒✏️ Tucker understood the assignment!

He showed up for his groom, got fresh and fluffy, and then absolutely CHEESED for his back-to-school picture. 😂📸

That smile says, “I may not know my ABCs, but I DO know I look good.” 😎🐾

Backpack? Optional.
Homework? Absolutely not.
Looking handsome for picture day? NAILED IT. 💯

Tucker is officially ready to head back to school… as long as snack time is the first subject! 🦴😂

POV: Mom said grooming appointment… but somehow it turned into school picture day. ✏️😂

Fresh haircut, fresh bandana, and a face that says, “I was NOT informed there would be photos after this.” 🐾

But look at that pose! This little cutie cleaned up pretty darn well and is officially fresh, fluffy, and feeling fabulous. 💕

We’re pretty sure the giant pencil is bigger than the student. 😂

🖍️ Class is officially in session at VF&F… and things are getting a little furry! 😂🐾

Today’s students came in for their beauty appointments and somehow ended up posing for their school portraits. We’re not sure how much learning actually happened, but they definitely mastered sitting, looking adorable, and collecting treats. 🎒✏️

Their favorite subjects?

🐾 Recess
🦴 Snack time
✂️ Grooming 101
💤 Advanced Napping

Attendance: PERFECT.
Behavior: We’ll discuss that with their parents. 😂
Cuteness: Completely off the charts.

Little pig 🐽 🐾 Sometimes grooming isn’t about the perfect haircut. Sometimes it’s about giving a pet relief.

We don’t talk enough about the fact that groomers have to work with what each pet is physically and emotionally able to handle.

This sweet boy was recently surrendered and came to us severely pelted—matted tightly down to his skin. His skin was already irritated, including areas affected by urine and the severe matting.

Our goal wasn’t to make him look perfect. Our goal was to safely remove what we could, give his skin some relief, keep him as comfortable as possible, and work at the pace he could tolerate.

Groomers can’t always finish every tiny spot or create a picture-perfect groom in one visit, especially when a pet is scared, uncomfortable, painful, or simply tells us they’ve had enough. We have to listen to them.

And look at that little face afterward. 🥹❤️ Under all of that matting was one very handsome boy.

This is why compassionate grooming matters. Humanity over vanity, every single time. 🐾

We’re wishing this little guy nothing but comfort, healing, and a much happier new chapter.
