Okay can I just talk about my face for a second? 😄

I am not a morning person. Between the barn, coop, and job I have maybe five minutes to look like a human being before the day takes over. So whatever goes on my face has to earn its spot. No fluff. No fuss.

Faith, Grit & Gratitude

Good morning — hope everyone made it through last night safe and sound! 🌪️💛

We had downed fences and fallen trees and arena light polls split in half out here, so this morning started with boots on the ground and getting chainsaws ready before coffee was even finished. That’s just Oklahoma life, isn’t it?

Animals are safe, family is safe — that’s what matters most. The rest we’ll handle one tree and fence post at a time. 😄

My friends in Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi have battled tropical storm weather and flooding too this weekend. What a ride!!

I just wanted to pop in and check on y’all. If you’re out here cleaning up today too, just know you’re not alone. We do hard things — that’s just who we are.
