We had SEW much fun creating this summer, that we nearly forgot to take pictures! I'm so sorry I missed several kids' cool projects!

But we created projects based on our favorite books, made backpacks and pencil bags and lanyards to be ready for the school year ahead, made matching PJ shorts, sleeping bags and pillows to share with our dolls, and had a fantastic group of teens make the cutest clothes that there are no pictures of.

I'm now cleaning and organizing and prepping for the fall session that will begin in September! If you have a creative kid looking to build a new skill, join us!

Adults! If you've ever looked at the pics of the amazing things kids are creating at In Stitches and wondered how they do it, join us for Sew-cial Hours!

These adults-only Friday nights are where you can bring the project you started but never finished, the idea you have that you're not sure how to pull off, or the big project you just don't have enough room to spread out (like 2 beanbags that need recovering!)

We'll have snacks and drinks, the advice of an amazing community of crafters, and lots of laughs!

Just a few spots left in our first summer camp of the season! We'll be working with breezy and cool double-cotton gauze - perfect for sundresses, shorts, skirts, shirts and more!

This camp is perfect for budding fashion designers aged 10-15. Creators will get to customize every aspect of 2 to 3 clothing items throughout the week.
Want to add pockets? Done!
Don't want to add sleeves? No problem!
Hope to take the top of one dress and put it on the skirt of another? Let's do it!

Up next in the summer line-up, it's Book Week! You let me know what book series is your kiddo's favorite, and I'll build projects to match! We already have Keeper of the Lost Cities and Hunger Games registered...and we've done Harry Potter, Wings of Fire and more in the past as well!

All projects are beginner-friendly...all you need to provide is your creative reader!

As the school year winds down, we're looking ahead to summer! Sewing camp registrations are now open. Up first, clothing camp!

We'll be turning gorgeous double-cotton gauze fabric into breezy and comfortable shirts, skirts, shorts and more. All patterns are beginner-friendly, so no previous sewing experience is required! Perfect for ages 10-15, students will finish camp with 3 or more handmade clothing items perfect for summer!

These girls brought laughs, lots of joking around, and some impressive sewing skill as they celebrated Evelyn's birthday! They made the cutest matching pajama pants, and have maybe declared that, this close to summer, any school day can be pajama day from here on out!

(Could they stay serious and quiet while pretending to be asleep in that second shot? Not even a little 😂)
