An example of my poetry. For those ladies who dream of a way out...
She sighs so many times at night,
She can't tell when to breathe.
In his eyes there's always a fight.
She wishes that she could leave.
Day after day it stays the same,
What happened to her world?
Inside her lay the lonely grave
Of a hopeful little girl.
Her time has past the die's been cast,
She thinks of su***de.
It went too fast it couldn't last,
She has nowhere left to hide.
Her heart is dying why is she trying,
When no one seems to care.
She's stopped minding all his lying
She knows he's never there.
She pushes on right or wrong,
She does what she is told.
It wont be until long her hope is gone
She knows she won't grow old.
Longing for an open door
To walk out of this hell.
At her core she wants no more
She has no one left to tell.
So one night, she turns down the light,
To go to rest at last.
No more fights, no more lies,
Her pain left in the past.
As the pills take hold she grows cold,
And waits for deaths caress.
But a light so bold, brazen, gold
Takes hold of her instead.
Blissful peace inside her meets
The pain she's always felt.
She now sees how her needs
Can finally be met.
Without a whisper, her body lifts her
She doesn't pack just leaves.
Never further will another hurt her
She finally believes.
