I am $400 away from my goal of raising $500 for the Embrace the Amazing 5k in Georgia Nov 1 to support Autism Awareness in honor of my godchildren.

To help get to this goal I am selling items from Rebekah Designs and all proceeds will go to the event charity.

I have drawstring backpacks for $6 each, pillowcase dresses $8, dog collar bandanas for $2 each, a few coin zip pouches for $3 each, and one wristlet for $7.

Again you may help by either purchasing an item for sale or making a donation. Please let me know by Oct 30. Thanks

On Nov 2, I will be in Georgia doing a 5k race benefiting Autism Awareness called Embrace the Amazing. The race is being organized by my closest friends who are stationed at Moody Air Force Base in Ray City, GA.

The event is very dear to me because it is being lead by the mother of my godson, Jaxson, who is a terrific first grader who just happens to see and experience life differently because of Autism Spectrum Disorder. Over the past year I have seen the work of Moody AFB Special Needs Program (EFMP) and Family Autism Support Group (FAST) serving Jaxson do wonderful work with him.

My sister Sarah Bishop and I have formed a Team to raise funding. I am asking that you consider making a donation in any amount to help continue the work of FAST and EFMP. All donation amounts are appreciated. However, if you make a donation of $25 or more, you will receive one free embroidery project from Rebekah Designs. I will be collecting donations until Oct 25.

Please makes checks payable to Rebekah Bishop or Ashley Jones.

If you are going to be in the Valdosta, GA area Nov 2, you can still register for the 5k at http://fastvaldosta.weebly.com/autism-awareness-5k-race.html. Thank you for supporting Embracing the Amazing event and feel free to pass information to anyone that would like to support the cause.
