Here it goes!! It’s time to let you know that the Hot Air Affair Rising Above Cancer is going to be very different this year. Celebrate Anderson is going to be putting on their big music show and fireworks display with us up on the launch field on Sunday night; Anderson county is 200 years old, the nation is 250 years old. A very big loud colorful party is in order. Forty balloons will brighten the skies. We expect more than a hundred vendors this year. The Independence Balloon will be back with us. NEW!!! We will be having a three-day Rural Agricultural Expo inside the Civic Center as well. This will be like an old fashion state fair and we will even have a cow drop!!

Sept 4-6, Labor Day weekend, Friday, Saturday, Sunday FREE admission. FREE parking on Civic Center side of road. Donation parking on launch center side. Concerts and fireworks are free. Any proceeds or donations will benefit the Cancer Association of Anderson.

* All balloon activities are subject to change and or cancellations due to weather. Weather that could impact balloons includes unfavorable winds, low visibility and thunderstorms in the surrounding area. Decisions will be made in real time using real time weather data not data from TV and online weather apps.

There is a VERY exciting festival coming this year to celebrate the 200 year of Anderson County and the 250 year of the United States!!

My last oyster 🦪 hat headed out!!!🤩🤩

I have sold out of all of the oyster patches. I know a few of you have requested the oyster Hats I am going to be placing an order again next week. These patches are custom made to order so they do take about 2 to 3 weeks to come in if you want to get your name on the list to secure yours please reach out and message me how many what color hat and if you want chain or no chain thank you all so much for the love and support and I can’t wait for y’all to see the upcoming designs.
