KavaThreads was born from my love of clothing people in art... and to raise my little one in the grass. I learned a hand painting technique from a french gypsy family in the Caribbean, but my business was truly born in a Vermont valley. My designs have been inspired from the many stories I've collected, cherished, and translated into the language of art... traveling adventures, musicians, artists, are all "woven into the fabric" to create wearable canvases.

The gorgeous .alanna.glenn rocking crutches and moons! Nothing can really keep this girl down. Later that same evening she was definitely caught dancing 😍🤫

I’m back…Londonderry market today 9-1 ✨✨✨
Goodness, sorry for all those I missed last week!
After a couple years in a bubble my immune system was flexing its muscles, remembering how to work. Damn, was I and my little family sick!! It was hard to remember that there are other bugs out there other than the Rona…but there are. And will continue to be. So I say fear not, go out and shake their hand, meditate on what they are teaching..because we are going to need all the immune memories and self awareness we can to not be taken down by the little things we can’t see.
It was actually a little blessing in disguise shacked up with my darling fam.

To MARKET, To MARKET…to see my dear loves and drape them in Art…

Oh my friends, has it been awhile…
Been on a few rollercoasters between then and now. We all have, I’m sure.
But I am still here..
And back painting.

Always an invitation for greater perspective as we race down an unknown track…we never really know the precious unspoken stories of those beside us…so do let’s be kind.
But also let’s be real, let’s use our voice for those who can’t, let’s not pretend injustice does not exist.
This morning I send my greatest prayers to women everywhere…who may not even know they have a choice, who are being conned to think that anyone in any manner shape or form may have any authority over the vessel that holds their spirit. They do not. This is your one precious life. And it is yours to write your story. Hold it dear. And never forget you hold the power. Love to all of you however you may channel that power.
