We found that men’s ready-to-wear shirting was neglecting the natural shape and function of the male body. Outside of bespoke clothing, the options seemed limited. A good fit in the shoulders left the torso lost in a sea of excess fabric. Or, a good fit in the torso and arms left the shoulder and back seams eager to burst at any given moment. The male body naturally has broader shoulders and a narrower waist. We began with a tailored solution to this shape and then designed more functionality into that fit. Design isn’t just how a product looks; it’s how the garment feels and ultimately how it functions. For the Darwin Fit a lot of functionality comes from our unique under arm construction. This provides mobility, but maintains subtlety and style. The Darwin man is always on the move, busy pursuing his goals and life aspirations. Style is an important aspect of life, but it should never limit us. This is where the Darwin Fit becomes the perfect addition to a stylish and unique wardrobe. Our first shirting line is made with a 120s pieced dyed poplin fabric.
