Outfit Details:

Dress: Hand dyed 1980s wedding dress, deconstructed and reattached to a bodice that was hand-made from a secondhand silk jacket, decorated with applique hearts and Paisley-like swirls made from the same jacket, cross straps made from thrifted floral ribbon, all appliques outlined with hand dyed second hand tulle and lace ribbon.

Accessories: Acrylic on leather, hand-painted eybeball shoes purchased secondhand, vintage aurora crystal clip on earrings, hand-dyed wedding dress off-cuttings made into a lace mask, hand dyed thrifted fringe gloves, and a hand dyed ribbon piece as a choker.

All pieces used in Whimsy as an Act of Defiance are secondhand and upcycled, down to the thread in many pieces.

Outfit Details:

Top: Vintage purple sweatshirt with applique made from a duvet and fabric remnants, hand beaded with paillettes and the words "Space is Cool 💗". Completed with a ruffled peplum skirt made of secondhand organza with metallic stars.

Jeans: Hand painted acrylic on vintage denim monsters, made to emulate imaginary friends from childhood who protect you from under the bed.

All materials used in Whimsy as an Act of Defiance are secondhand and upcycled, down to the thread used to sew many of the pieces!

Dress: Quilted vintage fabric squares in varying patterns and shades of blue, green, yellow and pink- accented by a large applique heart made of vintage remnants and thrifted blue organza. Straps made from fabric remnants, dress lined with a 70's sheet, bow made from sheet as well.

Accessories: Earrings (Acquired Funk Original Paillete statement earrings) Boots (Model's Own)

All materials and pieces used in the Whimsy as an Act of Defiance are secondhand and upcycled, down to a lot of the thread used for the quilt body of this dress.

Friday night blew my mind. Flow: a Q***r Fashion show was one of the most beautiful, joyful, expressive events I have ever had the opportunity to take part of. Thank you thank you thank you to Q***r Bozeman 406ᑕIᖇᑫᑌᗴ-The Circus Center of Bozeman for hosting and producing such an amazing event.
