Finishing a project has this amazing feeling that’s almost unexplainable! It seems that when I finish a sweater, that sweater becomes the most favorite one I’ve knit.

It’s a ray of sunshine, the zest of a lemon peel, a pedal of a sunflower, a little baby duck, a vibrant banana, it’s the best yellow in my opinion. And it’s even better in person!

Never be a prisoner of your past. It was just a lesson, not a life sentence. 🧡

I spent over half my life fighting addiction. For years I thought the only way out was to keep fighting myself. The real shift came when I stopped doing that and started actually loving who I am. Not who I thought I should be. Just... me.

I haven’t had a drink since April 3rd, 2022. And I can honestly say I’m enjoying my life more now than I ever did before.

Learning to sit with my anxiety instead of running from it. Understanding my depression instead of letting it define me. That’s what finally let me walk through the tunnel instead of staying stuck at the entrance of it.

It’s actually a huge part of why this month’s Full Spectrum colorway means so much to me. It’s inspired by “Fool in the Rain” by Led Zeppelin.

A song about waiting in the storm, feeling foolish and lost, and then finally seeing the light break through.

Those warm citrus oranges, golden saffron yellows, and honey tones?

That’s the sun finally coming out after the rain. That’s what it feels like to come out the other side.

I’m not “fixed.” I don’t think anyone fully is. But I’m on the other side now, in the light, and I’m proud of the person I fought to become! I’m pouring that into every skein this month!

But my second favorite is orange 🍊

I LOVE orange! So much so, this month is my favorite month of the Full Spectrum Yarn Club 🕺🏻

This month we’re celebrating Orange and all its glory!

July’s yarn club inspiration was You Make My Dreams (come true) by Hall and Oates. This month’s inspiration is Fool In The Rain by Led Zeppelin 🎸
