It’s been a minute since I’ve had a Blow my Socks Off kinda day and my mind is beginning to play those mean tricks on me.. the ones that make me wonder if it’s really worth all the Energy Time & Effort that goes into making it all happen. I’m seriously overwhelmed in most aspects right now ~ and LowDownLoveShack is the one place I escape to and pour the passion into.. so Escape with me! We ALL need it every so often. Here’s what a “day off” looks like around here.. We have been working the shops for eight straight days so decided to downshift and play in the dirt. 🤎 The squash bed gave it up to borers so it’s pulled and treated with diatomaceous earth ~ soon to get a fall crop. All the roses are dead headed (again) and an evergreen something or other covered in spider 🕷️ mites got entirely misted with neem oil. After all that~ this Sugar Baby watermelon from McCall’s farm hit it just right! 🍉
