Sunday Best wasn’t just fashion… it was a whole experience.
Growing up, one of my favorite Easter memories was watching my grandmother and my aunts get dressed to the T for church — the beautiful dresses, the elegant hats, the gloves, the shoes… every detail mattered. In Black culture, Sunday Best has always been more than just getting dressed — it’s pride, tradition, grace, and showing up as your best self. 🤍
That African American Easter fashion legacy lives deep for me… the style, the confidence, the beauty, the reverence. It was one of the highlights of Easter as a child, and honestly, it still inspires me today.
There’s just something so special about the beauty of our culture and the way we made Sunday style a statement. 💐
I’d love to hear from you:
