I am so blessed to announce my next fundraiser for this amazing family and one special little boy!
A little backstory if you haven’t heard about Baylor or his situation.
Baylor is a happy two year old little boy who was born with CHD specifically double inlet left ventricle. Just in his short amount of time since being born Baylor has undergone heart surgery and had a pacemaker placed last year.
Baylor had been doing really well at home until recently when his parents noticed swelling in his hands and feet and was having a difficult time with breathing correctly. So his parents took him to the hospital to address these concerns and were immediately admitted to WVU Children’s for heart failure.
Upon many attempts to treat with medications, it was found out that Baylor would need to be transferred to UPMC in order to await a heart transplant.
Fast forward to now, roughly about 7 months, Baylor is now on what is called a Berlin Heart which is what is keeping his heart beating. He also was scheduled to receive a heart, however it was damaged and he was reverted back to square one in the hope of finding a match.
His mother (Maddie) and father (Jacob) will be staying with him as he awaits for his new heart which is the reason for this fundraiser. As we all know, life is expensive and this is to take some of the weight off the shoulders of this amazing family during this time.
$15 from each shirt sold will go directly to Maddie and Jacob to help aid in reducing financial stress as they get to spend time with their son and hope that a heart becomes available.
