These soles were rotting out and needed new welts and her bases. The previous cobbler just glued and nailed a sole on top of the old sole. Now these will be more flexible and wear the way they were originally designed for.

This was a PROJECT! Heels counters warped, footbed crumbling, bad resoling. Had to re shape, add new footbeds, gemming, soles, customer requested different blocks, shanks, welts. Now he has a new pair of boots to wear. ❤️

Grant Stone loafers resoled with JR soles and dovetail heels. Customer wanted them natural with white thread. Added some bunking because, well who doesn’t like bunking lol.

Red Wing 8088 recraft. Changed out the wedge sole for the 100 sole from vibram. Added a thick leather midsole, metal shank and white thread for the welt.

Red Wing 8085 recraft. Removed the 430 vibram sole and replaced with an extra thick leather midsole, 100 honey sole, with a leather heel base and brass screws.

El Dorado boots were converted from a leather sole to the 700 rubber sole from Vibram. New welts and heavy duty shanks. The old ones were broken. Customer wanted black welt, black edging and white thread on top.

This pair of shoes the customer wanted to keep the existing welt, so I had to make some adjustments with how I stitched the sole on.

Made a new leather tail end for the belt. He wanted the leather to be the same thickness as the belt, so hand stitching was the way to go.

To say this was a challenge would be an understatement lol. Really bad dog chew on the toe of these Lucchese boots. I’d like to thank for tips on how to keep the leather as smooth as possible on the toes.

These cool boots got upgraded to the vibram Cristy sole with a a new leather midsole. Cleaned, conditioned and new stitching on the uppers. He also chose to go with a red top stitch. Now they’re ready for new adventures.

This customer didn’t want leather soles and wanted to do something different unique. Leather midsole with the brown 700 sole from vibram. Brown top stitch with orange bottom stitch. These are a cool pair of Trickers Bourton brogue shoes in acorn.
