Hi everyone! As I hinted at last week… the rebrand is finally here! 🫐

The Rustic Wool has officially rebranded to Blueberry Bug Handmade! With a new name, new logo, and a fresh design, I’m so excited to share this next chapter. And I’m also happy to say, I am officially live on Etsy!

I will still be taking local orders in Bristol and the surrounding areas (Warren, Barrington, Tiverton, Aquidneck) through Facebook/private message, but I’m looking forward to start expanding a bit more. This rebrand feels so much more like me, and I can’t wait to share everything I’ve been working on.

Over the next few days I’ll be adding more products to my Etsy shop, including:
• Knit chickens
• Pom-pom knit hats
• Cowls with accent buttons

So, keep an eye out for those! I’ll also continue sharing new products here on Facebook as usual.

I know I always say this but thank you so much for all the support! I’m so happy to have such a wonderful community that loves and cares for my art.

I hope that everybody is doing good after the storm ❄️

I have some wonderful news!!

The Rustic Wool is going under some construction….. and is rebranding 💖

This is due to the fact that the shop is now going onto Etsy sometime in the next week or two, and will be expanding, and honestly I want a brand that felt a little bit more like me (and not just catering to the location I’m in).

Therefore, the Rustic Wool will have a new name, new logo, and new vibe coming very very soon.

I will still be taking local orders, but most of the business will now be moving onto Etsy and hopefully some craft fairs in the future.

The other thing that is under construction… is my shoulder 🥲. Lately, I’ve been knitting so much that my shoulder has a repetitive motion injury so I’ve been taking a slight pause for a couple weeks to let it heal and rest. However, this has not stopped the rebranding and the expansion onto Etsy and this is still projected to be complete very soon!

Thank you all so much for all the love with the new hats as well, I worked hard on them and it’s great to see the positive feedback!

My scrap yarn hat collection is finally here! I’m so excited to share these with you, I’ve been working for months to perfect them, and I truly poured so much into the design of these. I absolutely adore the colors and textures, and I hope you love them just as much as I do!

This collection features four different styles, each inspired by a different kind of adventurer:

🌲 The Wilderness Explorer

Each hat is one-of-a-kind and made with different lengths of yarn, so the colors will be randomized each time but the same color pallets as shown below! When ordering with me, you can customize the pallets a bit and let me know if you want certain colors left out/put in!

Hi everyone!

I wanted to do an update post since I haven’t been posting as consistently on social media and I’ve had a few people asking what is going on with The Rustic Wool.

The Rustic Wool is still operating, I am working on some Christmas orders currently and I am also currently practicing crocheting so that I can create more things in the future as crocheting has a lot more opportunity to make cool shapes/items. I will not start selling these items until the quality is up to my high standards 😅.

***I am taking orders for the holidays so if you want someone to have a special homemade gift, please reach out!***

As for the slowdown on posts and outsourcing, I’m going through a lot with my physical health as well as mental health, and these have been my top priority. I am getting treatment and help but it’s taken a lot of my mental space (which is okay!). Due to this I have stepped back from posting as much but I hope to post more frequently as I’m feeling better.

As for the future of the Rustic Wool, I may be taking things slow and steady for a bit but the plan is to open an Etsy shop for people to order from, which would help with outsourcing a LOT since advertising locally has not gone too far as it is small community where I’m located.

Thank you so much for all of the support, it’s been such a wonderful year and I hope that my small business has many more years to come! 🧶💕
