His two sons have angleman syndrome, which is a condition caused by a change in a gene called a genetic change. Angelman syndrome causes delayed development, problems with speech and balance, mental disability, and, sometimes, seizures. Many people with Angelman syndrome smile and laugh often. They tend to be happy and easy to excite.
REPOST - Let me tell you why Douglas and his wonderful wife just give hope to how beautiful people can be. I ordered some hats custom made and just hits a home run every time, but what makes them special, they always think about my boys with Angelman syndrome and their love for hats, and sends them extras. That fact that they think of them just warms our heart. Thank you, guys, for being amazing people. It means the world to us!!
