Yep, we woke up this morning and we chose violence. Stop running from the challenge. It's conquering the challenge that will give you the reward. Anything you can get easily, means you do not have to push out much effort. The challenge will grow your skills, test and prove your abilities and the results will be so much more valuable because you worked for it.

Don't lose hope because it, whatever your "it" may be, has not happened yet. If you're tired, then rest, take a break but do not quit. Regain your energy and keep going.

Listening to Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams on Sunday, we were inspired by his speech to share his stance in serving the community. He has been elected to serve, not to be served. That is the attitude we have to take, as we are leaders in our families, jobs, organizations and businesses. We are in place to stand for others while also building for ourselves. It seems attractive to have a seat at the table but sometimes to create the change you desire, you have to turn the table over.

TBH we do not always feel like we belong. Every now and then imposter syndrome creeps up on us and we do not believe we should have a seat at the table. Here's the thing, you have to show up anyway. Never count yourself out. Being present is half the fight. Then show up like you own the room. How do you do that? Be yourself, do not shrink to other people's expectations and let your talents shine.
