This Wednesday, 7/15, is the custom order deadline for the 2026 Shaper Residency Program. While your board doesn’t need to be fully finalized, we do need the basics so we can begin sourcing blanks and materials ahead of everyone’s arrival.

Several shapers are approaching full order capacity, and custom orders will be secured once a deposit has been received. The deposit link is available in our Linktree.

18 years ago, legendary surfboard shaper and designer Dick Brewer graced us with a visit to our original shop on River/Metropolitan Ave. A relentless perfectionist with an uncompromising eye, Brewer spent a lifetime pushing surfboard design forward while compelling those around him to meet the ocean with equal conviction. His influence on surfing extends well beyond the outlines of the boards he shaped. β€œKeep It Hard Body” or simply β€œKeep It HB” is a reminder that there are no shortcuts to doing something well. This shirt is dedicated to that enduring spirit.

Join us on June 9th as we celebrate the release of DUSTED Vol. 1β€”a journal devoted to the craft, culture, and enduring curiosity that surround surfboard shaping.
The evening will also mark the premiere of two new edits from our Shaping Residency docuseries, featuring Neal Purchase Jnr and Malcolm Campbell, offering a closer look at the ideas, philosophies, and hands behind the work.

We’ll be announcing the 2026 Shaping Residency residents and officially opening the ordering queue… because every good conversation eventually becomes a surfboard!
