Found as just the ceramic body — no wiring, no socket, no harp, no shade. I loved the scale and the yellow, cream and soft green-gray crackle glaze, so I decided to bring it back to life as a lamp.

I rebuilt it with new electrical components, then hunted for a shade large enough to balance the oversized base. The finished lamp is 33.5” tall, with an 18” ceramic base and a 22” shade.

It’s one of those statement pieces that really takes over a side table in the best way.

Welcome to VAM House.

A curated mix of Vintage, Antique and Modern pieces for a more interesting home.

I’m building this little shop around the things I’m always drawn to — sculptural decor, collected objects, beautiful old pieces, unexpected finds, and newer pieces that still have personality.

I’ll be sharing new finds, styled pieces, furniture, decor and things being added to the shop as I go.

Vam House is coming together now. Follow along — more soon.
