Check out my evening/Saturday sessions coming up in November!! For teens and adults only! Each session is two 75-minute lessons.

SESSIONS:

BASICS 101 (prerequisite for all lessons)Learn basic sewing machine skills & terminology in a fun and creative way, while making a few simple projects: a little fluffy pillow, envelope pillow case & reversible placemats.
$90 (fabric & pillow included. Student may choose out fabric for placemats, if desired.)

BAGS (BASICS 201)Keep practicing sewing those straight lines by learning how to make a tote bag and drawstring bag, from start to finish (no precut fabric)!
$90 (fabric for drawstring bag included; student must chose out fabric for tote bag)

ZIPPERS (BASICS 202)Learn how to sew a zipper on, making a cross body bag, a pencil pouch (with precut pieces of fabric) and a mini coin pouch.
$90 (zippers and fabrics included)

QUILTING 101 (prerequisite for other quilting sessions)Learn how to do basic patchwork! Using pre-cut fabric to make a cute 16x16 9 square pillowcase & 4 little coasters!
$90 (fabric & pillow & batting all included)

QUILTING 201Learn how to sew an adorable hippie patchwork pillowcase, made with precut fabrics and pom pom fringe.
$90 (fabric & pillow & pom pom fringe provided)

QUILTING 202Learn how to patchwork & quilt your own potholders/trivets! Practice cutting out fabric to create 2 different patchwork patterns (quilt blocks). $90 (fabric & batting included)

QUILTING 301Learn how to quilt a simple table runner or mini quilt, made with precut fabrics – this includes techniques to 1) layer the top/batting/base layer, 2) hand tye the quilt, and 3) bind the quilt).
$100 or $120 depending ($120 for precut fabric squares for top layer, batting, base fabric layer & fabric for binding, thread for tying all included; otherwise $100 but all squares fabric and batting must be precut before lesson 1) - this session is four 50 minute lessons.

QUILTING 302 – Learn how to quilt a fun-themed little quilt! This session includes making a little quilt from start to finish - from cutting the fabric with the rotary cutter to the final binding of the quilt.
$195 (no fabric provided - please discuss first how to pick out fabric for quilts!) - this session is eight 50 minute lessons (depending on speed of student)

FASHION 101 – Learn to sew some clothes without an official pattern! Learn the basics of how to make clothing fit correctly by making a boat shirt and circle skirt!
$85 (fabric not included)

FASHION 201Learn how to follow a pattern while making an awesome apron! Grow in understanding of sewing terminology, cutting out patterns and fabric! No precut fabric - this is a project from beginning to end.
$ 110 ($15 apron pattern included; fabric not included) - this session is four 50 minute lessons

CHRISTMAS Learn how to sew a festive stocking and some unique ornaments!
$90 (Christmas fabric, chord and batting included) or $85 (fabric for ornaments included but stocking fabric needed)

INTERESTED IN SEWING LESSONS ?!

This is a great opportunity for you or your children/teen (8+ recommended) learn a life-long skill, while getting to create fun projects. I teach children and adults the basics of sewing in a one-on-one lesson, so that they can get the teaching and support they need in a positive learning environment.

To keep sewing fun, students get to make interesting projects as they learn.
· Lessons are taught at my home in Brownsburg (near Connection Pointe Church).
· Sewing machine and tools provided for all sessions. Fabric sometimes provided depending on project.
· Each session includes four 40 minute classes.
· Payment for the session is due the first day of session (cash, check or paypal).
