Recently I had a run in on an order with a larger company and turned around and had a completely different experience with the same order at a small shop and it reminded me why I only love shopping small. 9 times out of 10 the large companies just don’t put the pride into their items like small shops do. Everything that goes out my door has my name on it so I personally make sure that it is up to my standards. Even if that means throwing away profit.

When I was young I dreamt of being a mom.

After I became a mom I dreamt of a career that fulfilled me.

After I found that path I dreamt of being a successful business owner.

Now here I am living all of those dreams.

Its busy.
It’s chaos.
It’s messy.
It’s stressful.

But in between the crazy there are a lot of moments of happiness, contentment, and a ton of blessings and answered prayers that surround me.

I hear all the time “ I don’t know how you do it. Being a young mom and owning a business.” Well let me tell you the secret.

When God places a dream and a purpose on your heart and you have the drive to fulfill that dream and purpose, it will happen. It takes:

Work.
Effort.
Sleepless nights.
Financial discipline.
And sometimes some give and take.

So if you have a dream and the drive just do it. Make it happen. Don’t sit and watch time pass by. Get up and do the dang thing.
