New vulture culture unisex necklace.

This necklace features a bat skull cast in resin with moss backing. It is acented with a tigers eye stone and the Elder Futhark Dagaz rune hanging on a black, rough leather cord.

The Dagaz rune (ᛞ) translates to "day" or "dawn". It is the ultimate symbol of awakening, transformation, and breakthrough. Visually representing a sideways hourglass or infinity symbol, it signifies the threshold where darkness yields to light, bringing clarity, hope, and the realization of a new perspective. What an amazing time (as always) at the (11th year as a vendor). and .mortis rocked it alongside me, and I am so honored and proud to share this experience each year with these two beautiful and talented artists. A huge should out to / for helping run point on grabbing random things (including water) when we were busy with all of the wonderful event goers stopping in. Let me start by saying what an honor and privilege it is to me when I am asked to make memorial items for those facing the grief of losing a loved one. (Pet or person).

I'll admit, this one hit hard for me a little, and I teared up during the process. These pieces are for my dear friend in memorial of her long-time companion and familiar, Scarlett. I spent my time working on these items in memories, and thanks for what she provided in this life to my friend. Scarlett was an ever watchful and ever loving companion. Those of us who knew her swear she waited to see Susan safe and happy before she passed on to watch from outside this mortal veil.

Losing a pet is hard as they love unconditionally; losing a soul companion is even harder.

Thank you, Susan, for trusting me with your sweet girl and for allowing me the honor to memorialize her for you. May she continue to watch over you in love and protection from the other side, free of the discomfort of this life.
