Our in-house product tester has arrived! Meet Poplar Farren. She came on board June 25th and has been testing out our products daily. Pictures here with our favorite rattle. Soon we will be adding more colors to the mix!

Her favorite product right now is the Baby Bottom Balm. Almost 7 weeks in and hasn’t even seen a hint of diaper rash. She gives it a 10/10.

PROTECT + PAMPER: A beautiful, small-batch, organic, herbal face oil. Spoil yourself, or gift to the new mamas in your life.

Your porous skin absorbs anything that you put on it. If you are working on balancing your hormones, cleaning up your beauty routine, planning for pregnancy or are pregnant, then you really want to pay close attention what you are putting on your body. This oil can be used as a moisturizing oil or a cleansing oil. For moisturizing, best applied to slightly damp skin (post wash or a spray of toner) and massaged into face, neck, even chest – anywhere you feel could use a little love. For a cleanser, apply 2-3 pumps before washing your face, massage into skin with warm water, and rinse clean. No soap. That’s it. (HINT: soap is not your face’s best friend. The pH likely doesn’t match, there may be harsh chemicals, and your face could either end up too dry or too oily.)

It may seem that I have been silent on here. That is not my intention. I am here. I am sharing what I wrote over on the other day. I am educating myself. I am watching so many of the informative videos you all have posted and shared. Reading your well crafted posts. I have seen so much love, frustration, anger, sadness, unity. I am following so many new accounts. I have been creating a list of books for me to read as well as a diverse collection of books for my future children. I may live on a mountain with no neighbors, but my children will NOT be isolated and “protected” from the world’s issues. Our issues. They will be taught love. Acceptance. The importance of standing with their peers, their community. How small acts make a big difference.

I’ve been thinking a lot about what I can do; how I can play my part.

I’ve been preparing to launch new programs over on this week and with everything going on I’m having very conflicting feelings about putting my work out there. But I believe so much in what I do, so I am going to continue to roll them out. What I have decided I can do is donate $25 from each program that I sell through at least the end of the year to , as well as other organizations supporting Black maternal health. Please, please share organizations that you follow that are fighting gender and racial discrimination in US healthcare.
